I know I have said it before, but I HATE it when my baby's sick!! It's such a helpless feeling to see her so miserable. Prayers for my little one to get better quickly would be appreciated! Thanks!

Sick baby
Well, our trip came to a gloomy end. Friday morning, Sydney woke up with a nasty cough & sore throat. Throughout the day it got much worse. By last night at 9:30 PM, she was running 102 degree temperature that lasted all night & until her 9:45 AM doctor's appointment this morning. She was tested for strep & had a blood test done to see if she had an infection. All came back fine. So the doctor has determined that it is a virus & will have to run it's course. That's great news, but it also means that we may see more high fevers over the next few days. The doctor said she should be better by Monday. If she isn't, they need to run the tests over. Hopefully, she will be much better by Monday!

It sounds like Sydney has what Jake has had twice in the last two weeks...fever, sore throat, etc. We even did all the testing this week too plus a chest x-ray and all came back okay so they say "must be viral". Anyway, he's feeling much better today so maybe she'll be back to her old self in a day or so too. It's no fun for mommies either when babies are sick!
No fun. Hope she's "up and running" again soon! (Also hope you get sleep while she's sick.)
